Black Drum and Redfish biting in Everglades National Park
Report Date: March 15, 2010
It just seems like this cold weather wonít go away. I canít remember a winter like this; it just seems to hang on. In spite of the wind blowing out of the northwest most of the week, and the water temperatures still in the sixties, we were able find plenty of fish. The seatrout bite continues to be strong, the fish are large and it doesnít take long to catch a limit. The black drum and redfish have also been biting around the bars in the rivers and along the beaches. If we continue to see the weather pattern, the fishing should remain good for these species of fish.
